    "description": "Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council require grounds maintenance operations to be carried out at eight closed churchyards within the borough. \\\\r\\r\r\nThe contract is for general grounds maintenance which includes grass cutting, pruning of trees and shrubs, collection and disposal of litter amongst other grounds maintenance duties as outlined in the attached specification.\\\\r\\r\r\n\\\\r\\r\r\nThe contract will be for a period of 24 months with an option to extend for a further two periods of 12 months.\\\\r\\r\r\n\r\n\r\nAdditional information: \r\nBasingstoke and Deane Borough Council require grounds maintenance operations to be carried out at eight closed churchyards within the borough. \r\nThe contract is for general grounds maintenance which includes grass cutting, pruning of trees and shrubs, collection and disposal of litter amongst other grounds maintenance duties as outlined in the tender specification.\r\nThe contract will be for a period of 24 months with an option to extend for a further two periods of 12 months.\r\n\r\nThe Council has proposed the following timetable for this Tender process: \r\n\r\nDispatch of ITT:     Friday 10th December 2021\r\nQuestions \u0026 Answers:    Frid 10th Dec 2021  -  Mon 17th Jan 2022\r\nReturn of Tender:     12.00.00 Thursday 20th January 2022\r\nEvaluation of Tender:  Thursday 3rd February 2022   \r\nNotification of Contract Award to Tenderers:   Tuesday 8th February 2022\r\nContract commencement meeting:   w/c 23rd February 2022\r\n\r\nThe Council reserves the right to change the above timetable and Tenderers will be notified accordingly where there is a change in the timetable.\r\n\r\nThe Council is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers.
