    "description": "Construction of a new primary school with external car parks, access roads and hard \u0026 soft landscaping.\r\n\r\nThe new school, on the former Sunningdale School site, is a mix of single storey and two storey elements, tucked between the existing car park and playground. \r\n\r\nThe single storey wing houses the entrance reception, nursery, sport hall, studio, practical kitchen and school kitchen and plant room, the two storey wing houses teaching spaces which all have direct access to the external play spaces. \r\n\r\nExternal works include rejuvenation of retained playground and car park, swale/SuDs areas, and creation of new play areas/MUGA and\r\nsports pitch.\r\n\r\nProposed sports pitch to be established early within construction process and protected during build for immediate use on School occupation.\r\n\r\nThere may be a requirement to accommodate the School\u0027s ICT installation Contractor within the contract programme.\r\n\r\nThis will be a single stage selective tender based on full RIBA 4 design information with selected CDPs and full Bill of Quantities.\r\nJCT SBC with Quantities 2024 with local amendments.\r\n\r\nTender documentation is available  from, and tenders must be submitted via, the Open System (https://www.open-uk.org)\r\n\r\nYou will need to create an account on Open in order to access and bid for public sector opportunities issued by Sunderland City Council.\r\n\r\nVisit www.open-uk.org to register an account\r\n(Registration is free and easy.
