    "description": "Sizewell C (CWA) is looking for establishing an onsite rebar cut \u0026 bend (C\u0026B) facility.\r\n      This onsite facility will process about 238,000t of reinforcement bar and coil for the project duration.\r\n      The onsite facility will process the complex nuclear rebar requirements just in time to meet the programme requirements. \r\n      At peak, the production capacity of the facility is estimated to be 5,250t per month of rebar from 2030 to 2036. \r\n      Hence, the capacity and efficiency of the facility will rely on an optimised design layout and efficiency of the production machines to meet demand.\r\n      The C\u0026B production line will be programmed using rebar software, which must be compatible with the C\u0026B machines.\r\n      \r\n      The scope of this proposed work package includes the design of the C\u0026B facility\u0027s machine layout (including space provision for machine to be provided by others, such the coupling machines, manufacture, installation (mechanical and electrical), testing, commissioning and preventive maintenance (software updates, scheduled checks and servicing of machines to replace worn parts, calibration, safety checks, etc.) for a comprehensive turnkey factory comprising of:\r\n      \r\n      1)\tShearing machines which will be utilised in the cutting or trimming of the straight rebar into desired length. \r\n      This may include the following:\r\n           a)\tAutomatic shearline machines\r\n           b)\tAutomatic shearline bar loader\r\n           c)\tManual shearline machines\r\n      \r\n      2)\tOff-coil machines to be used in the in the off-coil processing of rebar typically up to rebar of 20mm in diameter. \r\n      This may include the following: \r\n           a)\tCoil straightening machine\r\n           b)\tStirrup shearing and bending machines\r\n           c)\tAutomatic link unloading system\r\n      \r\n      3)\tBending machines to be used in bending lengths of rebar with the angle on bends preset and adjusted to suit project requirements. \r\n      This may include the following types:\r\n           a)\tAutomatic bending machines\r\n           b)\tManual bending machines\r\n           c)\tRadius bending machines\r\n      \r\n      4)\tTransportation and buffer systems:\r\n           a)\tAutomatic and manual conveyors \r\n           b)\tAutomatic (e.g. Autorack) and manual racks (including raw material storage)\r\n      \r\n      5)\tWork packaging system\r\n           a)\tAutomatic loading system\r\n           b)\tStackable platform packaging system\r\n      \r\n      6)\tSoftware\r\n           a)\tRaw material management system\r\n           b)\tScheduling and production management system\r\n           c)\tLifetime Quality Record system\r\n           d)\tLogistics management system",
