The programme should be delivered by trained prisoner mentors 1-2-1 on wings, in Industries, or in education areas on an outreach basis, assisting those prisoners already identified as needing this  support the chance to gain these skills. Providing informal learning support at entry-level, the offer needs to supplement our formal education provision, establishing a pathway into classroom-based learning and contributing to the broader educational strategy within the prison.",
