    "description": "The Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire , The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire , The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire have a requirement for the provision of Laundry Services to serve the Custody Units at Kempston and Luton (Bedfordshire). Cambridge and Peterborough (Cambridgeshire), and Hatfield and Stevenage (Hertfordshire). \r\n\r\nThe service will include delivery and collection from these locations. Items to be laundered will include blankets, towels and detainee clothing issued by the Forces. \r\n\r\nThis opportunity is presented as three Lots; Lot 1 - Bedfordshire; Lot 2 - Cambridgeshire; Lot 3 - Hertfordshire. A Tenderer may bid for one or any combination of the three lots.\r\n\r\nIt is anticipated the contract will start 1st June 2025 for an initial term of 14 months until 31st August 2026. There will be two optional extensions of 12 months each until 31st August 2027 and 31st August 2028 respectively. \r\n\r\nThis opportunity is available via the 7 Force Commercial Tendering Portal.
