    "description": "Following a successful bid to the Single Homeless Accommodation Programme (SHAP) fund \r\nDorset Council was awarded funding to deliver a 6 bed \u0027complex women\u0027s unit, with support\u0027 -\r\nbreakdown below:\r\n\r\nRevenue - Yr1 - \u00a38,807.50, Yr2 - \u00a3211,375, Yr3 - \u00a3211,375, Yr4 - \u00a3202,567.50.\r\n\r\nThe Capital grant awarded has allowed the Council to purchase a suitable 6-bedroom unit \r\nwhich will provide accommodation for female rough sleepers. The acquisition of the \r\naccommodation is outside of the procurement process.\r\n\r\nThe revenue funding is awarded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities \r\n(DLUHC) and the aim of the funding is to support rough sleepers into settled accommodation \r\nand support the government\u0027s aim to eliminate rough sleeping by the end of the current \r\nParliament.\r\n\r\nRevenue funding allocated to this project is made up of \u00a3584,125 from the SHAP revenue \r\nsupport grant and \u00a350,000 from the Homelessness Prevention Grant (HPG). This provides the \r\nCouncil with a total of \u00a3634,125 to deliver support for a 3-year period. There is a need to \r\nprocure a bespoke support service for women because the Council does not have a service of \r\nthis type in Dorset.\r\n\r\nFunding is high profile and is subject to monthly meetings with advisors from DLUHC. Progress \r\nwill also be monitored on a quarterly basis through Key Performance Indicators set by DLUHC.\r\n\r\nThis was a Further Competition via Lot 19 of the Dorset Care, Support, Housing and \r\nCommunity Safety Framework. Lot 19 of the Framework is \u0027Living Well (C) - Housing related \r\nsupport services.\u0027\r\n",
