    "description": "This tender has now been extended to consider structural condition reports due in November 2025\r\n\r\nCornwall College have applied for a funding grant of c \u00a32.5m to undertake refurbishment works to the existing Penhaligon House building at their Camborne Campus, Cornwall. \r\n\r\nThe proposed project involves two key works packages - stripout of the ground floor and extension (ground and first floor) of the existing building, and then refurbishment works to these areas. These packages will be let within the same tender. \r\n\r\nThis tender opportunity is now for the main works and the stripout elements of the project and will still consist of an open single stage traditional tender process.\r\n\r\nThe DfE funding grant agreement which will be in place with Cornwall College will be explicit that all works (and therefore funding expenditure) must be completed by March 2026. This is a hard stop date.\r\n\r\nCornwall College have appointed a team of professional consultants to deliver the project.
