    "description": "Southwaite (Petteril) Bridge is located on the C3010 and is a 2 span masonry arch structure that provides access over the River Petteril, a Main River.\r\nThe structure was widened on the upstream side on the 1840\u0027s and the older, downstream section was saddled in 1990.\r\nThe contract will be to undertake masonry repairs on the older section of the eastern arch. The arch barrel has suffered from deep mortar loss and voiding over approx. 50% of the barrel and will require repairing via pressure grouting or another suitable method. There are also 2 areas of spall on either end of the arch that will require suitable repairs.",
