    "description": "Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of Replacement of Walkways and Staircases at George Tweed Gardens.The objective of this contract is to\\r\r\n1. Safely remove all walkway \u0026 5 x staircases \u0026 build new replacements as per the supplied design specification.\\r\r\n2. Thoroughly clean all areas of existing walkway canopy.\\r\r\n3. Prepare \u0026 Re-paint all external metal bow top fencing matching existing colour\\r\r\n4. The works must be undertaken with tenants remaining in-situ where possible and to ensure the safety and accessibility of residents while complying with UK building regulations and standards throughout the project.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nThe contract term will be for 9 months.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nThe estimated contract spend is \u00a3520,000.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nFull details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nTo participate, Suppliers will need to register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents.
