    "description": "Salt Lake Site (West \u0026 East) - Remedial Works Following Condition Survey of the Feeder Line Supports (Phase 1 - CIDP26) \r\n\r\nThe basic requirement under Work Order WC1858011 focuses on repairing existing assets to extend their service life. \r\n\r\n- Clear vegetation at the area where the concrete bases are to be repaired in accordance with the directions provided by relevant stakeholders following relevant assessment and as below. Vegetation to be removed must be kept to the absolute minimum.\r\n\r\n- Contractor carrying out the works to liaise with Mitie QSHE Team prior to commencement of any works to assess the area.\r\n\r\n- Take out the existing electric cables located on existing steel feeder tray.\r\n- Place cables elsewhere to a safe location to avoid any damages during the reinstatement works.\r\n- Take down existing steel feeder tray (if any) and dispose waste material to license dipping site.\r\n\r\n- Install heavy duty hot dip galvanized cable tray with 260mm height and 1.2mm thickness to existing steel pole of feeder pole. Cable tray to be secured on steel pole using adjustable U-bolt bracket. Re-install associated cables with appropriate fixings (not plastic ty-wraps).\r\n\r\n- Excavate around feeder pole with hand digging. The depth of excavation shall be 600mm below ground level. Excavation to be kept to the absolute minimum required.\r\n\r\n- Clean the exposed concrete pole surface using rotary machine.\r\n\r\n- Apply cement based elastomeric waterproof coating to all exposed concrete surfaces of the existing feeder pole.\r\n\r\n- At the completion of cement elastomeric application, backfill and compact the excavate area with excavated soil material. Any excessive soil shall be delivered on licensed facilities for management.\r\n\r\n- Clean existing steel pole using power tools to grade of cleaning St 3 (Very thorough hand and power tools). The repairs need to be done according to the Grade of each asset:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nGrade 3 (Critical): Urgent local repairs - patching or jacketing of bases, reinforcement cleaning, bolt and tray replacements, and heavy recoating of steelwork.\r\n\r\nGrade 2 (Moderate): Selective repairs - concrete patching, localized steel plate strengthening, protective epoxy coatings, and timber preservative treatments.\r\n\r\nGrade 1 (Good): Preventive maintenance - cleaning, sealing, and protective surface treatments. The aim is to stabilize defects, slow deterioration, and preserve as much original structure as possible.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Provisional Key Tender dates for the project are as follows:\r\n\r\n-              Expression of interest: Tuesday 16/12/2025  \r\n-              Expression of interest return:  Tuesday 23/12/2025 \r\n-              Invitation to Tender: Thursday 08/01/2026\r\n-              Tender Return Date: Monday 09/02/2026\r\n-              Contract award: Friday 16/03/2026\r\n-              Commencement of work:  Monday 31/08/2026\r\n-              Completion of work: Friday 25/09/2026 \r\n\r\nThe currency of this project is Euro (\u20ac).\r\n\r\nThe location of this project is Akrotiri, Cyprus (British Forces).\r\n\r\nAdditional information: \r\nAny company wishing to participate in this tender should complete the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and the EOI form which are attached and return them electronically to the above email address by no later than 12:00 EET on 23/12/2025.  \r\n\r\nFor companies that have submitted a PQQ within the last 12 months, there is no requirement to re-submit it.
