    "description": "The Authority wishes to award a contract for the enhancement of the layby at Cross Keys, near Sedbergh. \r\n\r\nTo include: \r\n\u2022\tstone faced reinforced concrete retaining wall\r\n\u2022\tlevelling, resurfacing and tarmacking of the layby area, keyed into the existing highway\r\n\u2022\tinstallation of timber hardwood bollards\r\n\u2022\tinstallation of a new 1.5-meter-wide pedestrian footpath\r\n\u2022\tinstallation of a new highway grate and gully connected to existing gully\r\n\r\nContractor to supply all materials, equipment and personnel to complete the works\r\n\r\n\r\nThe contract will run between April 2025 and October 2025 with installation works to be carried out and completed between 1st May 2025 and 30th September 2025.
