    "description": "DVLA has awarded this contract for the provision of Enforcement Services commencing on 1st February 2026 for 9 months with the option of a 3 month extension.\r\n\r\nThis contract is to ensure continuity of service and also to allow a full twelve month implementation period for the successful bidder (currently unknown) for the long term Enforcement contract PS 23 45. This requirement was highlighted during market engagement as an essential requirement to a successful implementation.\r\n\r\nThe standstill period as prescribed by the Public Contract Regulations 2015 concluded at 23:59 on Monday 13 January 2025\r\n\r\nThis service will help identify untaxed vehicles or vehicles that are in breach of Statutory off Road Notification (SORN) and, where necessary, immobilise or remove vehicles. The services required encompass:\r\n\r\n- Immobilisation, Removal, Storage and Disposal of vehicles\r\n\r\n- Enforcement Warning Notice Issuing Services and;\r\n\r\n- Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) services for detection and action against untaxed non-Compliant vehicles",
