    "description": "The City of Lincoln Council is seeking to procure a contractor to deliver design and build services for the development of the Jasmin Green site for the provision of council housing and associated infrastructure. The scheme will be delivered in line with the City of Lincoln Council specification for new build homes appended to this document. \\r\r\n\\r\r\nThe Contract will commence 1st May 2025 and will be split into two elements with a break option in between.  The first element will be in respect of a feasibility/preconstruction contract and the second the construction/defects liability phases.  Whilst it is the Council\u0027s aspiration to move forward with this development, it is subject to a number of factors being satisfied, such as but not limited to, cost viability of the scheme, funding being available, satisfactory performance of the successful contractor. It is anticipated that the contract will commence 1st May 2025, and we would expect that the initial preconstruction stage (including Planning Approval) to cease by 28th February 2026. The construction stage will then commence from 1st March 2026. \\r\r\n\t \\r\r\nThe contract scope includes but is not limited to:\\r\r\n\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tPreconstruction survey works\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tDesign works and planning application\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tDelivery of around 50 good quality new council owned homes which meet EPC A rating\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tAssociated infrastructure including roads, drainage, play space and amenity space\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tMaximise biodiversity net gain on the scheme where possible\\r\r\n",
