    "description": "This tender is to carry out an effective, responsive and preventative Damp proof remediation\\r\r\nworks and associated services throughout the Wakefield District and Surrounding area.\\r\r\nThe items listed below represent typical works undertaken, please note this list is not\\r\r\nexhaustive and may be subject to amendments\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Wood preservative treatments (including removal of wood boring insects)\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Injecting chemical Damp Proof Course\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Tanking including renewing Damp Proof Membrane\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Liquid waterproofing membrane to internal walls and floors\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Replacing damp infected plasterboard, skirting and floorboards when affected by the\\r\r\nabove items\\r\r\n\\r\r\nTUPE\\r\r\n\\r\r\nWDH believes that the subject matter of this tender is such that the requirements of the\\r\r\nTransfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (as amended) (i.e.,TUPE) may apply.\\r\r\nThe successful tenderer must have full membership to the Property Care Association (PCA).\\r\r\nAll surveyors working on this contract must be PCA certified of Remedial Treatments (CSRT)\\r\r\nand certified of Timber and Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB).\\r\r\n\\r\r\nPLEASE NOTE: This is a pass/ fail criterion as located within Appendix 5 Standard Selection\\r\r\nCriteria section 6.4\\r\r\n\\r\r\nTENDER DOCUMENTS\\r\r\n\\r\r\nIs found and located on the link below\\r\r\n\\r\r\nhttps://procontract.due-north.com/Opportunities/Index?v=2\\r\r\n\\r\r\nDamp Proof Remediation Works",
