    "description": "***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION *****\r\n\r\nThis procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the Crown Commercial Services - Research \u0026 Insights DPS - RM6126\r\n\r\nBrief Overview of the Requirement\r\n\r\nInitiated in 2010, the Size \u0026 Health study is the UK\u0027s definitive evidence base for the space sector. It is used to:\r\n-\tAssess the sector\u0027s scale and vitality.\r\n-\tInform industry and government activity and priorities.\r\n-\tInput into the formulation of UK space policy.\r\n-\tTrack progress towards policy objectives, such as those set out in the National Space Strategy (NSS)\r\n\r\n\r\nThe primary aim of this wave is to analyse key metrics for the 2023/24 financial year, as outlined in Table 1, with the exception of investment metrics, which will be assessed for the calendar year 2025. This wave will continue the general format and structure of previous iterations, using a shorter survey to collect updated data on a reduced set of metrics. This approach supports continuity in the time series, helps prevent further data ageing, and may improve data quality by reducing respondent burden. The selected metrics represent those most frequently used by the widest range of stakeholders and are therefore considered critical for inclusion in this light-touch wave.",
