    "description": "Great Places Housing Group (GPHG) seeks to contract a supplier of Workwear \u0026 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for approximately 1,000 staff, and in particular some 250 grounds maintenance \u0026 repairs operatives, requiring several thousand items over the course of a year across North West England \u0026 South Yorkshire.\r\nClothing in particular should provide comfort, wearability, features to facilitate the work in hand, durability and resistance to wear \u0026 tear and weather, whilst PPE must meet British Standards and provide excellent protection from the diverse hazards encountered at work, and the full range of goods supplied must remain economic for GPHG.\r\nProduct ranges proposed will be assessed on both price and quality, including product \u0027road-testing\u0027 by operatives.\r\nSome items will be branded, and GPHG supports sustainable outcomes.\r\nApplication is via the ProActis ProContract procurement online portal, https://procontract.due-north.com ref.
