    "description": "The contract is a \u00a3Nil commitment arrangement for the provision of commercial expertise and resources to NHS England and to NHS SCCL.  It is expected that support will be required across key areas such as commercial delivery of major and complex programmes, commercial improvement initiatives, national savings programmes and complex commercial strategy development.  \r\nThe contract services will be instructed in the form of a series of individual Statements of Work (SoWs) as approved in accordance with the requisite governance arrangements. Each SoW will set out the work to be undertaken, the key deliverables, the resources requirements and the total fixed cost using the rate card submitted as part of the Supplier\u0027s tender.\r\nThe contract term is 24 months with the option to extend by a further 24 months.\r\nThe maximum value of the contract will be \u00a340m excluding VAT across the full term including all extensions but there is a \u00a30 value commitment.",
