    "description": "This contract covers Five SSSI Lake Sites in Cumbria, assessing the \u0027Lake Habitat\u0027 feature:\r\n\r\n1.\tArmboth Fells SSSI (2 Lakes: Blea Tarn \u0026 Dock Tarn)\r\n2.\tSkiddaw Group SSSI (2 Lakes: Scales \u0026 Bowscale Tarn)\r\n3.\tHelvellyn \u0026 Fairfield SSSI (2 Lakes included in contract: Red Tarn \u0026 Grisedale Tarn)\r\n4.\tScafell Pikes SSSI (2 Lakes: Styhead Tarn \u0026 Sprinkling Tarn)\r\n5.\tClaife Tarns and Mires SSSI (3 Lakes: Three Dubs Tarn, Moss Eccles Tarn \u0026 Hodson\u0027s Tarn)\r\n\r\nAims  \r\n \r\nThe purpose of the contract is listed below:\u202f\u202f \r\n\r\n1.\tUndertake a whole site assessment of the Lake Habitat using the standardised methods outlined in Common Standards Monitoring Guidance \u0026 provide a recommended condition of the Lake Habitat at each of the five sites. \u202f \r\n2.\tProvide a unit-by-unit description of the designated lake habitat, including an assessment of each unit/lake.\u202f\u202f \r\n3.\tRecord details of any \u0027pressures\u0027 observed which may impact on the condition of the lake habitat.\u202f\u202f \r\n4.\tSuggest where current management is supporting favourable condition, where it is not and why might that be.\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f \r\n5.\tUndertake a climate change risk assessment of the lake feature at each site. \r\n6.\tComment, where relevant, on the targets in the monitoring specification\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202f \r\n\r\nFurther information about the sites can be located on Natural England\u0027s Designated Sites View: https://designatedsites.naturalengland.org.uk/\u202f\u202f \r\n \r\nThe results will allow Natural England to undertake a Commons Standards Monitoring assessment of the condition of the lake feature at each site and help with advising future management.",
