    "description": "The Isle of Wight Council (\"The Authority\") are seeking to deliver a Community Occupational Therapy Service that will provide specialist support for local people to achieve their identified outcomes in line with the Care Act 2014, the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 and Childrens and Families Act 2014 principles. The Community Occupational Therapy Service will deliver a high-quality outcome-focussed service supporting people to achieve their identified outcomes.\\r\r\n\\r\r\nThe Community Occupational Therapy Service will:\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Support local people live independent, safe and healthy lives in a place they call home where they feel safe and part of their community.\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Help people to live fulfilling lives regardless of age, disability, status and social background.\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Facilitate and enable people to overcome any barriers that prevent them from doing the activities (occupations) that matter to them.\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Support people to increase their independence.\\r\r\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Support carers to maintain their caring role and achieve choice and control in their life outside of caring.\r\n\r\nAdditional information: \r\nThe estimated value set out in this contract notice is the total maximum value for the initial term and the possible extension option(s).\r\n\r\nThe contract start and end date listed in this contract notice is for the full potential duration of the contract including possible extension option(s). The initial term of this contract is three years with the option to extend for a further two, at the sole discretion of the Authority.",
