    "description": "The strategic context\r\nThe GMC has the requirement to access the following legal research online on a 24/7 basis:\r\n- Access to extensive UK case law\r\n- Access to consolidated legislation.\r\nScope of requirement\r\nSuppliers will be asked to set out the coverage they provide, but as a minimum to cover:\r\n- House of Lords/Supreme Court and Privy Council\r\n- the Court of Appeal\r\n- Queen\u0027s Bench Division\r\n- The Employment Appeals Tribunal; and\r\n- the European Court of Justice.\r\nThe GMC requires appropriate training to be available at both the initiation of the contract and for the purpose of supporting new users through the life of the contract. Training by video link is acceptable. However, any on-site training would be at GMC\u0027s offices in Manchester (3 Hardman Street, Manchester M3 3AW).\r\nWebsite access to the service should be available to all solicitors and trainee solicitors employed by the GMC. The GMC currently employs 77 solicitors and trainee solicitors, therefore, the service should be priced to be available to no more than 80 users. Individual logins and personalised services are not required. Access should be available to users through a single group login to enable ease of access for the team.\r\nThe GMC is seeking an optional service for journals (priced separately, if it attracts an additional cost). The journals we are interested in relate to: Judicial Review, Regulation of Healthcare Professionals and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).",
