Description

Wealden District Council (the 'Council') are seeking a hosted centralised Asset Management System to hold data regarding the organisations assets and assist with the effective management of Corporate Assets to a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to meet our corporate asset management needs. The Council owns and manages a variety of corporate assets, utilised for a multitude of varying uses. It includes structures, car parks, land, public conveniences, leisure & recreation facilities, churchyards, community halls, offices, crematoria and other assets leased to community organisations and even some used to generate a commercial income. The Council's property portfolio extends to over 200 land and building assets, with a current total book value of £53 million. The current non-operational asset portfolio generates over £1,000,000 per annum in rent and licence payments. The operational asset portfolio generates over £200,000 in fees and charges. Commercial lease renewals and rent reviews are undertaken to maximise the income to the Council from the portfolio and protect the Council's interest. Currently the asset information is held within a terrier system which has limited availability and information. The Council is looking for a centralised system which has the capability to hold all data regarding the organisations assets and allow users to manage corporate assets proactively. Suppliers will need to register on the Central Digital Platform if they wish to participate in tender opportunities that are published on or after this date.
