    "description": "The service will provide services which integrate with the Healthy Child Programme and contribute to the achievement of High Impact Areas via services that are universal in reach but targeted at level of need. \r\n\r\nThe service also supports broader council priorities beyond public health, including school readiness.\r\n\r\nThe Fresh Futures focus is for \u0027Early Intervention and Prevention\u0027 for children, young people, parents and their families specifically through: \r\n\u2022\tFacilitation and management of national Healthy Start scheme \r\n\u2022\tDelivery of Safety in the Home interventions \r\n\u2022\tChildhood Accident Prevention e-Learning \r\n\r\nIn scope of the \u0027Early Intervention and Prevention\u0027 contract are the following elements:\r\n1\tThe national Healthy Start Scheme for Kirklees (Get help to buy food and milk (Healthy Start).\r\n\u2022\tEnsuring those in receipt of the Healthy Start Voucher can access the Healthy Start Vitamins. \r\n\u2022\tPromotion/communication of vouchers and vitamin provision.\r\n\u2022\tUtilisation of community-based activities for promotion and engagement with the scheme e.g. Community Champion model.\r\n\u2022\tOrdering of vitamins and subsequent distribution and availability through accessible referral networks and venues.\r\n\u2022\tRegister of distributers, distribution breakdown and data recorded and submitted. Distribution reimbursement pathways followed.\r\n\u2022\tAttendance at local, regional and national meetings\r\n\u2022\tMonitoring of data and performance, and sharing with commissioners.\r\n\r\n2\tSafety in the Home (Childhood Accident Prevention) programme.\r\n\u2022\tProvide the Safety in the Home equipment and information scheme to 317 identified and/or vulnerable families meeting the relevant criteria per annum.\r\n\u2022\tRaise awareness of the scheme with relevant professionals, including criteria-based referral process.\r\n\u2022\tProvision and fitting of Safety in the Home equipment by appropriately qualified team. \r\n\r\n3\tOnline Childhood Accident Prevention training.\r\n\u2022\tProvision of an online Child Accident E-learning module for parents and professionals, including access, updates and maintenance of the module.\r\n\u2022\tModule to support identification of risks that are common causes of childhood accidents, understand steps to take to reduce identified risks, support families to make changes to keep children safe. \r\n\r\nAwarding a contract following Direct Award Process C.\r\n\r\nStart Date 1st April 2026 till 31st March 2027.",
