    "description": "Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is a procurement consortium which establishes and manages a range of frameworks and DPS agreements. Our membership has now grown to over 367 members including organisations providing services to the whole public sector including housing associations, local authorities, NHS Trusts,\r\nEducation Providers and Emergency Services.\r\n\r\nEEM have also established a formal collaboration with 3 like-minded procurement consortia - Westworks, South East Consortium and\r\n Advantage South West. The membership list for these three consortia may be obtained from the following website addresses: \r\n\r\nwww.westworks.org.uk \r\nwww.southeastconsortium.org.uk \r\nwww.advantagesouthwest.co.uk\r\n\r\n\r\nEEM will be conducting a tender exercise for the renewal of our existing Heating and and Hot Water Systems Framework which will expire in August 2025.\r\n\r\nThe framework will be for a period of 4 years and is expected to run from 18th August 2025 to 17th August 2029.\r\n\r\nEEM wishes to procure and enter into framework agreements with multiple Contractors for the provision of heating and hot water systems  servicing, maintenance, repairs and Installations. A range of fuel types will be covered by the framework including but not limited to; gas, solid fuel, oil and renewable heating systems.\r\n\r\nLot 1 of this framework will cover Domestic Heating and Hot Water Systems.\r\nLot 2 of this framework will cover Commercial Heating and Hot Water Systems\r\nLot 3 of this framework will cover Renewable Heating and Hot Water Systems\r\n\r\nEach of the above lots have been split into geographical sublots: \r\nSublot 1 - Midlands \r\nSublot 2 - National Coverage\r\n\r\nContractors MUST be able to provide services in at least three of the sub regions (Counties) listed within the tender documents for Sublot\r\n 1 Midlands and at least five of the sub regions (Counties) listed for Sublot 2 National Coverage. \r\n\r\nThe final number of Contractors appointed on to each lot and sublot of the Framework will depend on the outcome of the tender evaluation and organisations meeting minimum score requirements for the quality element of the evaluation. \r\nMembers who require a single contractor to manage the servicing and/or installation programmes across their domestic,\r\n commercial and or renewable heating system stock can compliantly procure a single contractor via EEM0026. Members can use either a Direct Selection or Mini Competition to appoint a contractor and only the Contractors who sit across all the relevant work stream lots and geographical sublots the Member is looking to use can participate in the selection process. EEM reserves the right to appoint less than the numbers stated.
