    "description": "The City of London Corporation (The City) provides the usual local government services for the \u0026apos;Square Mile\u0026apos;, these include housing, refuse collection, education, social services, environmental health, and town planning.\r\nThe City Surveyors Department is responsible for the management of the City\u0027s operational and investment properties, and for commissioning refurbishment and improvement works to the City\u0027s buildings. It is the mechanical and electrical services works associated with the Chiller, Heating \u0026 Sprinkler systems, Fire Alarm, Lighting \u0026 LV Distribution Replacement including LV Panel and Electrical Re-wire Works, at the London Metropolitan Archives. Please note that the London Metropolitan Archives are now officially known as the London Archives\r\nThe City wishes to appoint Consultants for the whole design and construction process from suitably technically qualified and financially sound consultants. The Consultant will provide professional services as the Mechanical \u0026 Electrical Services Engineer for the design, tender and implementation of mechanical and electrical works.\r\nThe Consultant Mechanical Services Engineer will be responsible for producing a fully detailed specification of works and tender drawings to enable a competitive tender to be sought for the works. Once approval for the works is given, the Consultant will manage and control the works on site through to completion.\r\nThese works would usually form part of a cyclical works programme but have been combined into one Capital Project due to the timescales and nature of the site.",
