    "description": "Kier Transportation are looking to engage experienced and qualified contractors to provide water monitoring and sampling requirements on 10 designated points as specified on the M6 Lune Gorge project.\r\n\r\nFrequency: Monthly - requirement for company awarded tender to attend site monthly to collect samples.\r\n\r\nMonitoring requirements: The following parameters shall be laboratory tested for monthly\r\n \t- pH \r\n\t- electrical conductivity\r\n\t- total suspended solids \r\n\t- dissolved oxygen \r\n\t- turbidity \r\n\t- redox potential\r\n        - bicarbonate alkalinity \r\n        - total and dissolved organic carbon \r\n        - metal suite (dissolved and totals): aluminium, arsenic, cadmium,  copper, lead, zinc\r\n        - major ions: calcium, chloride, sulphate, potassium, sodium\r\n        - nitrate\r\n        - phosphate\r\n        - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) (speciated, aliphatic and aromatic split)\r\n       - Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (16 PAHs)\t\r\n\r\n\r\nWe will use the Build UK Common Assessment Criteria (CAS) to ensure a consistent minimum business competence.
