The aim is to leave the Transport Planning Group (TPG) in a position where it is able to make the case internally for procurement and then (subject to internal governance and financial approvals) to procure the full development of a suitable policy model (the \u0027preferred option\u0027) in Financial Years 25/26 to 26/27. \r\nThree broad options have been shortlisted in the work to date, although these should not be considered an exhaustive list:\r\n-\tElasticity model (probably with a simplified supply representation)\r\n-\tMeta-model (probably based on runs of existing strategic model(s))\r\n-\tSystem dynamics model\r\nThe proof of concept model will be a platform that is a blend between certain aspects of each of the Elasticity and Meta models.",
