    "description": "Wembury Parish Council is seeking tenders from qualified and experienced \r\ncontractors for the provision of grounds and facilities maintenance services \r\nacross the parish. This contract involves the repair and upkeep of public spaces, \r\nrecreational areas, and infrastructure on Council-owned property. \r\nScope of Work: \r\nThe successful contractor will be responsible for the following: \r\n1. Repairs to Play Equipment \r\n\u2022 Conduct weekly inspections and undertake repairs to play equipment, \r\nincluding the play park, skate park, and MUGA (Multi-Use Games \r\nArea), as well as any other items installed by Wembury Parish Council \r\non its grounds. \r\n2. Tennis Courts Maintenance and Repairs \r\n\u2022 Regular maintenance and repairs to the parish\u0027s tennis courts to \r\nensure they remain in good working condition. \r\n3. Waste Removal \r\n\u2022 Removal of any waste created by maintenance works and other \r\nactivities as required. \r\n4. Pathway Repair \r\n\u2022 Where possible, carry out repairs to road or path defects on Parish \r\nCouncil property and grounds. \r\n5. Notice Board Maintenance \r\n\u2022 Perform maintenance on notice boards twice a year, ensuring they are \r\nclean, functional, and in good repair. \r\n6. Clearing Road Drains \r\n\u2022 Clear two road drains on Wembury Road on a monthly basis from \r\nOctober to April, and at other times as necessary to ensure proper \r\ndrainage. \r\n7. Bus Stop \u0026 Bench Checks \r\n\u2022 Check the condition of bus stops and benches every six months, \r\nreporting any damage or maintenance issues to Wembury Parish \r\nCouncil. \r\n8. Other Agreed Works \r\n\u2022 Carry out additional works mutually agreed upon by both the contractor \r\nand Wembury Parish Council. \r\nContract Duration: \r\nStart Date: 1st October 2025 \r\nDuration: 3 years \r\nRate: Fixed for the entire term of the contract \r\nPerformance Reviews: Conducted annually.
