The Council now requires additional mechanical excavator(s) with a shovel at the front and a digging arm at the rear (e.g. JCB) and drivers to assist with the implementation of such works.All excavator operators must be appropriately trained (e.g. CITB [CPCS]), with experience of hydraulic fitments and the following excavators:\u00e2\u0080\u00a2\texcavator 180 below 5t;\u00e2\u0080\u00a2\texcavator 360 below 5t;\u00e2\u0080\u00a2\texcavator 180 above 5t;\u00e2\u0080\u00a2\texcavator 360 above 5t,to undertake various highway related construction schemes on the highway network within the Vale of Glamorgan.",
