If tenderers are pricing for safety critical parts, it is mandatory to demonstrate RISQS (Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) approval (for appropriate codes) and/ or rail specific accreditation. Suppliers may also need to provide further evidence, such as Type Approval, Conformance Declarations, or Safety Justifications, and be able to demonstrate traceability and test reports.",
