Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC), in partnership with the Henry Tudor Trust (an independent charity) (the HTT) are seeking a professional design/interpretation company to work with both parties to deliver a design and build contract as part of a new Henry Tudor Centre in Pembroke. The project aims to create an interactive family discovery centre telling the story of Pembrokeâs most famous son, Henry VII (Henry Tudor), who was born within a stoneâs throw of the building at Pembroke Castle. This is a two-stage design and build contract, the first stage (preconstruction services agreement) involving preparing an interpretation and front of house plan/designs to RIBA 4. Following client signoff of the RIBA 4 design work, the second stage of the contract will take the plans through to completion RIBA 7.We are seeking an interpretive approach which tells a historically sound story, including different perspectives, particularly the Welsh perspective.
