    "description": "The farmhouse is a grade II* listed building, believed to have been built in the sixteenth century as a gentry house, out of the remains of theAbbey\u00e2\u0080\u0099s refectory after the dissolution in 1539.  It was then rebuilt in 1670-80, with significant material still remaining from this date. Thefarmhouse is one of the five listed buildings that make up the Mynachlog Fawr Farmstead.  It lies within Pontrhydfendigaid Community which hasapproximately twenty-two listed buildings, all Grade II.Work to Mynachlog Fawr are essential and will make the building structurally sound plus secure the future use of the building. This means restoring the building to a high standard, so that the Strata Florida Trust can carry on planning the re-use of the building. The work identified will be undertaken in one phase. The location and construction details are described in the proposed drawings and in thebill of quantities. The work is generally as follows:\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Insert structural scaffolding\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Insert S/S fixings to secure the walls\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Take down and rebuild walls\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Repoint and grout a wall\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Supply and fix new cast iron rainwater goodWork suitable for conservation builders only due to historic nature of the building.",
