Description

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) have awarded a contract to facilitate a pilot of a Minuteful for Wounds (MfW) digital wound management solution for sixty-five (65) users. This will offer an innovative smartphone-based solution with AI-powered analysis that enhances wound assessment and clinical decision-making.The solution enables community nurses to assess, document, and monitor chronic wounds remotely in a standardised approach to improve wound measurement and tracking, healing rates and patients’ compliance with treatments whilst reducing face-to-face contacts and associated costs.The NHS SBS Advanced Wound Care and Lymphoedema Products and Services Framework agreement (SBS10142) under Lot Seven (7) Advanced Wound Care and Lymphoedema Digital Products is compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation and provides a provides a compliant route to support the NHS to reduce the nursing time required to manage wound care in the community.
