The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the refurbishment of Matrix House and Matrix One, located in Swansea. The aim of the project is to enable centralisation and rationalisation of the staff resources across multiple buildings. The project involves the internal refurbishment of the buildings, including the relocation and integration of functions, as well as works affecting three separate buildings, one of which houses a 111-call centre. The contractor will be required to work within a live NHS environment and ensure that minimal disruption is caused to ongoing services, particularly the critical 111-call centre operations.The tender will be awarded to the most advantageous tender based on 50% quality and 50% cost as detailed in the ITT document.
