Description

A number of the Signal Light Modules along the CVL network have, or are nearing, life-expired and are in need of replacement.AIW seek a Subcontractor to carry out the necessary replacement works in accordance with the Scope (see 'Additional Documents')Works comprise of, but not limited to, the following;* Purchase the required replacement Signal Light Module materials and components,* Plan, manage and install the replacement Signal Light Modules,* Allow for all temporary works, and* Undertake Signal Maintenance Testing in accordance with the Signal Maintenance Testing Handbook (SMTH).The successful Subcontractor will be required to plan their own possessions and isolations, however, AIW will pre-book the possessions and isolations as identified in the successful Subcontractors Tender Submission in order to achieve the required completion date. The successful Subcontractor is required to take over the possessions and isolations planning once the contract has been awarded.AIW seek to procure a Build only Subcontractor under and NEC4 Option A Contract to undertake the replacement works including temporary works.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=156891.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
